Welcome to the MICC-Lab!
Our goal is to understand the neural mechanisms that underlie cognitive control,
their changes across the lifespan and in mental disease, and how we can promote their functioning. |
Do you want to contribute to our research?
We invite you to participate in a project that investigates the effects of EEG-neurofeedback on cognitive control. In this study, we will record your brain activity, analyse it in real-time, and show you a visual cue that informs you about the strengths of activity in specific brain regions. Over the course of a few sessions, you will learn to regulate your brain activity by using this feedback signal. Sounds interesting?
The study takes place at the Department of Psychology at the University of Oslo, and participation entails eight sessions over the course of 2-3 weeks. Participation is compensated with 500 NOK. If you are between 18 and 60 years of age, right handed, and a Norwegian speaker, please contact Mari Messel at m.s.messel@psykologi.uio.no. |
